Meet The Founder
Our founder, Rommel Taylor-Johnson, is also the inventor of Emet-Ease. Inspired by his lived experience and daily struggles with nausea & vomiting, Rommel drew on his background as a line cook and his understanding of sensory science to develop a layered, sensory first approach. This design, which supports comfort, control, and dignity to users like him who experience significant recurrent gastric upset.Rommel has always enjoyed helping people, and as he puts it, "Now I've finally found a way to help millions at scale."

Our focus is on supporting comfort, maintaining dignity, and helping individuals feel more in control during these physically and emotionally intense moments.Safety, efficacy, and thoughtful design are at the heart of everything we do. To ensure this, Emet-Ease was co-developed with a professional chemical engineer with nearly three decades of experience in the development of hundreds of health and wellness products.
